If you think that you can escape from the Chennai crowd by spending a weekend in Mahabalipuram (Mamallapuram), you are wrong. Many more people from Chennai think the same and they all head to Mahabalipuram to create a new crowded place. But Mahabalipuram is a good change from the regular crowds of Chennai. There is less pollution and a lot more monkeys.
It's cool to learn how people in Chennai live, surely it's a nice place to visit. ;-)
